South Korean Government demand health insurance cover for foreign students

The South Korean Ministry of Education has announced that all incoming international students must now be covered by private health/medical insurance during their stay in South Korea. Those who are unable to show proof of cover will no longer be allowed to register for courses at a South Korean University or school. Furthermore the authorities will no longer be responsible for any medical costs insurer by foreign students.
