Emergency Evac for Uzbekistan contract

10 April 2014

Bellwood Prestbury have provided medical evacuation cover for a team of electrical contractors who are going to work in a remote location in Uzbekistan, 500 kms from the nearest medical facility.

Our consultants have organised a Personal Accident policy with medical evacuation that would provide an air ambulance service if necessary in the event of a serious accident. This would cover the cost of bringing in paramedical teams to where they are working, and then to take the injured party to the nearest medical facility with western standards of healthcare. Repatriation to home is also included, should that be necessary.

The team is also covered for death and permanent or temporary disability, ensuring that they and their dependents would be properly provided for in the event of injury or death.
