Power to the universe

Observatorio del Roque De Los Muchachos (ORM), situated on the edge of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park, La Palma Canary Island, Spain, is home to one of the most extensive fleets of telescopes to be found anywhere in the world.
Conditions at the Observatory are ideal, not only for night time observations, but also for Solar Physics. The Observatory also attracts researchers in High Energy Astrophysics from all over the world.
Bellwood Prestbury provided Construction All Risk and Third Party Liability cover to meet the contractual insurance obligations for a new Energy Centre being installed by Hitachi Power Systems at ORM for The University of Tokyo.
This is part of an international project to build the world’s most advanced ground-based gamma-ray observatory.
