CARGO INSURANCE:

Cargo insurance can protect goods in transit by sea, air, road or rail, covering lost, damaged or stolen goods. We specialise in cargo insurance for risky areas, including war and terror zones.

CASUALTY INSURANCE:

See property and casualty insurance.

CATASTROPHE INSURANCE:

Cover for specified disastrous events, such as hurricanes, hailstorms, earthquakes, fires and floods that can potentially cause severe losses to large numbers of people or businesses.

CLAIM:

Notification to an insurance company by a policyholder asking for the benefits due under the terms of an insurance policy or scheme.

CRITICAL ILLNESS COVER:

A life insurance policy where the benefits are payable on diagnosis of one of a number of specified medical conditions.
